Samoyed and Champaign In 1998, the Samoyed Club of America moved their National Specialty to California and it took place on the former site of Lawrence Welk's estate. Therefore the group picked up on his champaign music theme and did a quilt with Samoyeds and champaign glasses. This added a bubbly sparkle to the year's effort.
